Some recall those wiley days of the late 1980s and early 1990s when offshore master trader Robert Earl Palm set sail 'round the globe with his nefarious band of offshore wise guys and not-so-sharp drawer-knife crew talking individual investors ( from church pulpits to Wall Street executives ) into leaving traditional onshore financial institutions and going offshore for those daring adventures with pirate fraudsters of the Caribbean.

Recently, April 2010, The Vancouver Sun ran 3-days of journalist David Baines three ( 3 ) version article surrounding old Robert Earl Palm, a few of his nefarious cohorts, but nothing really new.
