Martin Schlaff has been awarded a banking license in Liechtenstein. The bank is a rebadging of his Universal Finance Holdings (UFH), as "Sigma Kreditbank AG". Austrian press reports that Schlaff had the support of Liechtenstein aristocracy etc etc, which is perhaps not very surprising if true. Also speculation that this bank is to fill in for the role BAWAG used to play for him.

Veteran penny-crap obsevers will recall UFH as an early player in US toxic convertible "fundings".

Sigma's business will be "the making of small loans", apparently.
