Bahamas-based securities broker Alliance Investment Management and its president, Julian Brown, were today sued by the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission for allegedly helping Nikolai Battoo swindle investors out of $45 m, $5 m of which was allegedly used to “help keep AIM solvent”.
