Beneficial Ownership Registries: An Update

At the behest of the U. K. Government, Britain's Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories must produce national action plans for registries on beneficial ownership that, at the very least, must be made available to law enforcement and tax authorities, if not the general public. This session will look at the practicalities of compiling such registries, whether trusts will be included, the various options open to offshore jurisdictions, and the likely effects on business.Speakers
