Sandie Corbett joined Walkers Litigation Department in 2001 and became a Partner in May 2006. She is Managing Partner of the Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Group and a member of the Trust Disputes group. She also has a wide range of experience of commercial litigation. Sandie has appeared before the Grand Court on numerous matters.
Prior Employment Experience
After her admission to the Bar of England and Wales in 1988, Sandie completed her pupillage at 4/5 Grays Inn Square, Grays Inn. She joined 10 Old Square, Lincoln's Inn in 1989 and developed a successful practice undertaking a broad range of Chancery work. In 1991 Sandie moved to 1 New Square, Lincolns Inn to develop further her practice in company, corporate and trust litigation and in particular insolvency work. As a result of a chambers merger in October 2000 Sandie then became a member of New Square Chambers, Lincoln's Inn where she continued to practise successfully in the fields of company, commercial and trust litigation, insolvency and company reconstructions. She was also increasingly involved in arbitration and mediation work.
