Judge, Financial Services Division, Grand Court of the Cayman Islands (Cayman Islands)
Since retiring as a judge in England and Wales, Sir Peter sits part-time as a judge in the Financial Services Division of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands.
Distinguished judge Sir Peter Cresswell, who currently sits on the Financial Services Division of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands, will speak at The 10th Annual OffshoreAlert Conference.
Sir Peter has over 40 years' experience of dispute resolution as a barrister, Queen's Counsel, Chairman of the Bar of England and Wales and judge.
He will join Bermuda's Chief Justice, Ian Kawaley; Edward Bannister QC, who is the presiding judge of the Commercial Division of the British Virgin Islands High Court, and Justice Neville Adderley, who sits on the Supreme Court of the Bahamas, for a 90-minute session that will look at significant business-related rulings and other judicial matters in key offshore jurisdictions. The session will be moderated by one of the world's best-known asset recovery attorneys, Martin Kenney, who is based in the BVI.
The OffshoreAlert Conference will take place at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida on April 29 to May 1, 2012 and – with 10 days still to go – has already attracted a record number of attendees.
