Chris has significant experience in insolvency, restructuring and corporate finance.
In four years working with Grant Thornton in Dublin, Chris was involved in and managed a number of large receiverships, examinerships and insolvencies. He was also involved in numerous corporate finance transactions which involved buyer side due diligence, providing financial and management support on merger and acquisition transactions and assisting CFOs in turnaround situations.
Since moving to the Cayman Islands four years ago, Chris has led teams working on cross border restructurings, the liquidation of numerous Madoff feeder funds and insolvent South American financial institutions. Chris is a qualified insolvency practitioner and currently acts as a liquidator in solvent wind down situations.
He has in-depth experience in litigation against large multi-national financial institutions and service providers and has managed attorneys undertaking litigation in Ireland, Bermuda, the US and Cayman as well as having considerable exposure to litigation in London.
Chris is a Chartered Accountant and an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in the UK. Chris is also a member of the Cayman Islands Society for Professional Accountants, INSOL International and the Cayman Islands chapter of INSOL.
