deVere Group’s Nigel Green banned from South Africa’s financial industry over ‘honesty and integrity’ findings

deVere Group founder and CEO Nigel Green, a 62-year-old citizen of the United Kingdom, has been fined R2.5 million and banned from South Africa’s financial services industry for five years for regulatory breaches involving ‘honesty and integrity’ regarding Brite Advisors South Africa (Pty) Ltd., which itself has been fined R10 million.
