Recently I’ve been the subject of several slanderous Internet postings and derogatory emails that have been sent to business associates. I responded initially that these comments and/or accusations were from a disgruntled former employee.

Since she has stated that she intends on continuing these attacks until she ruins my reputation and/or puts me out of Business, it’s time to respond in more detail.

As I always urge people to consider the source of rumors, gossips, accusations, and/or threats, please be advised that this former employee has the following history as documented via public records:
6 possible Aliases
2 possible Social Security numbers
2 Tax Liens
Several questionable Real Estate transactions

A lengthy Criminal Record with at least 7 charges from 1984, 1987, 1989, and 2000, including:
1 Worthless Check charge
5 Fraud-Check charges
1 Grand Theft charge

Although I’m very tempted to share my personal feelings and observations on her mental condition, I’ll let the above Public Records speak for themselves.

Unfortunately I’ve learned that I will have to do background checks before hiring people in the future.

And I bet that she is the one who stole your tapes, the cash, and so forth. Notice she never refuted your charges did she Billlue? I guess she did commit those acts of fraud, bad checks, several suspicious real estate deals, worried about protecting her r.e. license even though she didn't even have one etc.

You should have done drug testing, background check and pysch testing. This nut makes Patrick and James Stew look normal and this is really scary.

From now on do background checks. It will save you from a lot of headache from nutcases like Ms. Lisa - Wolverine.

Stan, this mentally deranged person who is writing all of these slanderous and outrageous things about you wouldn't be the one we used to refer to as "The Wolverine" would it? Wasn't this the same "disgruntled employee" that you had to constantly call her customers back and apologize for her "unprofessional behavorior" and unethical telephone manners and hurling downright insulting remarks at customers?

As the saying goes, when someone loses their confidence and ability in selling, any excuse will do. This person needs to get a life and move on and perhaps realize that she was really not as good as she thought she was. That is why she was passed by so many other reps who she used to put down.

And for the record, I used to work for Enterra before the name changed to Berkshire. I was "career adjusted" and boy could I hurl some dirt if I wanted to. But I have decided to move on. In fact, my experience with Enterra and training by Stan Billue got me a much better opportunity. I like to focus on the positives, not the negatives and have moved on. So should you Wolverine!

The fact is, Stan Billue is one of the top sales trainers in the country and I consider the time I invested in working with him, very profitable and worthwhile.

I don't know about the rest nor do I care. Bankruptcy? Did you know that Walt Disney went bankrupt 13 times? Who cares? Look at the end result.

Stan, you definitely should do background checks on people before you hire them and perhaps, at least check them out for insanity. From what I remember you had (have??) a couple.

And so people won't think that I am a Stan Billue shill, Stan, are those Rainsoft clowns you hired really worth $1250 a week to start? C'mon?????

I haven't posted in awhile so thought I would share a few ideas and some techniques that have been working for me and others.

First, last summer I went to a three day bootcamp conducted byt he legendary Tom Hopkins. At first I was dimsayed to discover that most of the bootcamp was the same or similiar material as on his tapes and in his books which I already had. But I soon found that much of the real value was the live application of the techniques at the bootcamp. Tom put us to work through role plays and intensive training. This was not a sit down, take notes and ask questions seminar. It was a bootcamp and General Tom drilled us. He had us P-D-R - Practice, Drill and Rehearse over and over and over in role plays with our peers and in some cases in front of the entire group. He showed us how to take his material and reword it to apply to our specific programs. I highly recommend this practice to all sales trainers.

In the past, I have read books, listened to tapes or taken notes at company trainings and then P-D-R with my fiancee, on a tape recorder or in front of the mirror. That helped, but Hopkins system was much better and faster.

Another idea that I came up with, last summer I recommended to a company that they offer their employees the right to have Saturdays off. I know I hate to work Saturdays. The company implemented my idea and I was excited both that my idea was passed and met with so much popularity with the employees. I was also excited at how surprised everyone was when they found out it was my idea!

I then suggested the same idea to a company that I was working for at the time. We worked M-FRI so I suggested that they offer the right to have off Fridays. They did it and again it was met with great fanfare by the employees. I love L-O-N-G W-E-E-K-E-N-D-S as much as I love not working Saturdays.

Our company also had a problem with employees calling off on Mondays and/or the Monday BLAHS! I suggested that they change payday from Fridays to Mondays. After all, isn't that one of the reasons everybody loves Fridays so much, because it's PAYDAY? Funny how people stopped calling off on Mondays and how getting paid on Mondays suddenly gave them a new zest for work and productivity increased. Try it - it works!

Lastly, one of the challenges that I see with every company that I have worked for is that some people get discouraged too easy and quit way too soon. I believe that everyone should comit to give sales at least a 90 day trial to see if it is for you. In reality, if you want it bad enough, it is for you! But don't get discouraged. Sales is not easy. It takes work like any other profession. Practice, drill, rehearse. Turn the radio off in your car and get yourself mentally ready for your day at work. Listen to tapes in your car by great sales trainers like Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracy and Stan Billue. Rehearse your sales calls in your car on your way to work. All athletes warm up right? Let this be your warmup. Visualize and expect success. Instead of saying, "Oh God not another Monday." Say, "T.G.I.M. (Thank God It's Monday)" "WOW! Another day to make sales!" "I'm going to help people and earn a lot of money today." Sounds corney, I know but it works and is a lot better than saying, "Gee, I don't want to go in today. Wish it were Friday."

I also recommend that each day you set a goal for yourself. For example, "I'm going to make 150 calls today and 15 sales."
I did this with a company I was working for ten years ago in Pennsylvania and quickly moved to be the top TSR in that company and was TSR of the year, 3 years in a row after failing miserably for the first two months. I went from making 50 calls a day to making 200 calls a day and from $25 bonuses to $500 bonuses. It workd - believe me. I used to be one of those people who said, "Oh, I wish it was Friday. I don't want to be here today" etc. A change in attitude changed my production (and income) substantially.

Finally, I recommend visualization and affirmations. Say " I EARN
$_/PER YEAR!" I MAKE _ SALES PER DAY/WEEK/MONTH" AND SO ON. And avoid negative affirmations. For example instead of, "I am overcoming call reluctance" (which is the reverse of an idea sort of like saying I don't overeat) say, "I love making cold calls!" "I love telemarketing!" "I love helping people with my products and services." "People want what I have to offer." And have an expectant attitude. And then visualize yourself doing it. Repitition is the key coupled with strong emotion.

Actually Billue used many aliases including Stan Sherman, Rob Walters, Bob Johnson, Steven Price and more. He claims this was to prevent rejection, but was that true or was it because Billue had already become famous or infamous?

Bu the way, Billue is no longer associated with David G. Rose. I guess you could say that Mr. Rose "Career Adjusted" Billue when he realized that Billue was more talk than action and failed to deliver on his promises. There was also a rumor that Billue was running the company into debt while failing to produce any noteworthy sales revenue.

Billue claims that he has produced all of these Mega-Buck Six Figure Income phone pros but ask him to show you a check or any accurate stats. At best, you'll get a dirty look. Ditto if you ask him to show any proof that he was ever a Phone Pro. This guy is all hype.

This guy puts on a great show. I really think he missed his calling. Instead of pretending to be a sales trainer and continuing to have call center get shut down (3 since February 2006 with one more on the way) he should get a job at Las Vegas or Atlantic City and put an act together imitating a Motivational Speaker or Sale Trainer as a comic.

Stan Billue imatate a sales trainer you ask? Why not, he has been doing just that for 25 years!

While Billue makes wise cracks about these other trainers, they are the ones who have large companies, makes millions of dollars, get invited to speak at conventions and conduct seminars all over the world, drive Excaliber's, Mercedes's and Masarati's while Billue is working in boiler rooms making maybe $50k per year and driving around in a used, beatup Mustang!
