Interesting video on UK phone-hacking scandal

Nothing to do with offshore but this video by The Guardian offers a revealing insight into the phone-hacking scandal involving Rupert Murdoch's media group.

The performance of former cop Andy Hayman is particularly comical. His reaction to being asked whether he received payment from Murdoch's group is priceless and, for anyone with an understanding of human behavior, very revealing. Sad to think that someone like him was, at one stage, responsible for counter-terrorism in the UK.

You get a sense from the video of what I have been saying on this message board for a long time, that the modus operandi in the UK is to try to cover everything up and, if an inquiry is to be held, it is typically not done properly and is intended from the outset to be a whitewash.
