In mid-November, four charges appeared on my debit card for $79.80, $39.95, $29.00 and $0.95. The name of the merchant that made these charges was identified as "INF*PeopleSmart.com", which claims on its web-site at www.peoplesmart.com to be "the Internet's leading people search, background check, and public records website!".

I have never used this site and, in fact, I had never even heard of it prior to these charges being made. Needless to say, I rejected the charges and did not lose money.

I did some research on the Internet and discovered that others claims to have been a victim of this business.
