Could anyone please explain the phrase "proof of debt"

Apparently the receivers of Buttonwood / Centuar are requesting this

prior to distribution of funds. As we have lost a vast amount via

an unstrusrworthy investment firm in Bangkok we are hoping to

maximise our returns on this one.

'Proof of Debt' simply means that you have to prove to the liquidators that you are indeed owed money. This is standard with all liquidations.
