Adam Starchild is indeed a real person and he has served time in a federal prison for fraud. After being released, he followed the path of many a criminal and went to work for Marc Harris in Panama.

Stories about Starchild are in our 'Story Library' and I have documents concerning his convictions.

One of the documents shows that Starchild was returned to prison from a half-way house because he refused to get a job, comically arguing that he could not get a job because he had renounced his U. S. citizenship and, therefore, did not have a work permit! I believe, from memory, that he claimed citizenship of the Dominican Republic.

Adam Starchild must be channeling information from another universe, one where John Service didn't eventually win a Supreme Court ruling that his dismissal was invalid, didn't rejoin the State Department, and didn't die in Oakland in 1999.

For your information: I left a message for Hunter about a reliable source for a 2nd Passport. In that message ,I pointed out that one could use the name of ' Adam Starchild" as a source.

However, perhaps you did not realize that "Adam Starchild" is
really a "nom de plume" or "pen name" for several booklets featured at the Paladin Press in Boulder,CO
( It is more of a "cardboard character" than a real person, per se. You "journalist types" should think of it as the so called "Deep Throat" in the Watergate/Nixon situation. It is not really one person, but a series of persons "lumped " under one name. In this case, several of the titles at Paladin press may be objectionable. However, I have found that they are more reliable than a "shloch-meister" web site or a 'wannabe's" web address that does not know anything. Usually in the "Adam Starchild" booklets, how to avoid being "conned" is featured.
It is used as a "source" for people to realize that it came from such a body of literature ( Paladin press).
As you may realize, Paladin Press has had its "brushes with the law" over the First Ammendment--specifically in offering a title of a "how to" manual by a "professional contract killer for the syndicates". (Yes, Virginia such people do really exist.
No ,they do not handle divorce cases. No, they do not advertise in "Soldier of Fortune magazine" ( usually the ads there are by "wannabe's" or undercover cops trying to catch the unwary)). Be that as it may, the Paladin press sometimes offers useful information. In this case, how to get a 2nd passport. That may not be for everyone, but there are some who might find it useful. The following is a true story:

John Stewart Service was a US State Department analyst who correctly indicated that China would go Communist in 1949. For that he was 'branded" as being a 'pinko,Commie" by the likes of Sen. Joseph McCarthy and hounded by the likes of
J. Edgar Hoover. Here was a man, with a Harvard law degree and a Yale undergraduate degree, that could not get work even as a dishwasher after being "sacked" from the State department.
He was in his 30's when this happened and had a wife + 2 kids to support. What did he do? He did the right thing: leave the country. He emigrated to Ecuador and got new "papers". In the follow-up interview recently in the New Yorker magazine, he has been quite successful in furniture manufacturing. He put it behind him. He did not sulk, pout, or commit suicide. He used God given common sense and left the country, got a new set of "papers" and prospered.

It is for these types of situations, that a book on 2nd passports might be useful. It is for this type of scenario, that the Paladin press and "Adam Starchild" offer a 'safety valve for living".

best wishes

you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free

In response to Mr. Smith's comments as to the value of responses posted on this thread amd as the original poster so ironically stated at the bottom of that "invaluable" stream of misinformation:

You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free

...and the truth often hurts.

Supreme Court Won't Review Murder Manual Case

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - In a closely-watched First Amendment case, the Supreme Court declined Monday to decide whether free-speech rights shield the publisher of a murder manual from a civil lawsuit seeking damages.

The justices let stand a U.S. appeals court ruling that cleared the way for a wrongful death lawsuit against Paladin Press to proceed in Maryland . A U.S. district court judge had initially dismissed the case.

At issue is whether Paladin may be held liable for the actions of a man who obtained the book "Hit Man: A Technical Manual for Independent Contractors," and followed its step-by-step instructions to commit a 1993 triple murder.

Mildred Horn, her invalid, eight-year-old son Trevor and the boy's nurse, Janice Saunders, were killed in Horn's home in Silver Spring, Maryland.

James Perry was convicted of the murders and is awaiting execution. Lawrence Horn, who hired Perry to kill his ex-wife, son and Saunders, is serving a life sentence.

He ordered the hit to get his hands on a $2 million insurance settlement awarded after his son was paralyzed, prosecutors said.

Perry followed the directions in "Hit Man" by killing the victims at their home, shooting them in the eyes at close range with a gun recommended by the book, putting stolen license plates on his car and staying in a motel near the crime scene.

Paladin has argued that it was within its First Amendment rights as a provider of information . The victims' families allege the small Boulder, Colorado, publisher effectively aided and abetted Perry in the crime.

The central legal question, as previously defined by the Supreme Court in a landmark First Amendment ruling, is whether an entity, in distributing information in a general way, can be found to have advocated or incited lawless action.

The district court dismissed the Horn/Saunders family lawsuit in August 1996, but the appeals court in Richmond reversed that ruling last November.

Appeals Court Judge J. Michael Luttig wrote in the ruling that Paladin may be held liable because speech that aids and abets does "not enjoy the protection of the First Amendment."

Paladin's case has drawn support from numerous legal, publishing, media and entertainment organizations.

A group of high-powered media companies and press associations had urged the Supreme Court to overturn the appeals court ruling.

"To hold a word or an image jointly responsible for even the most ghastly criminal act diminishes us all, because it means that some valuable speech surely will be chilled in the process," the group said.

But the Supreme Court denied Paladin's appeal without any comment or dissent, refusing to hear the case.

Also mentioned by prosecution witness in Robert Blake trial.
Thomas Mathew, detective, LAPD's robbery/homicide division

Searched Caldwell's garage on April 19, 2002 and saw a Palladin Press catalogue with a page folded that contained an advertisment for a book called "Killing Zone, which deals with how to mount an ambush
Testified finding an LA Times article on the Blake investigation and a crumpled up yellow note on the floor that said, "Don't forget train track"
Also found gun cleaning equipment, ammunition, and various tools

And I have it on good authority that Starchild's photograph is actually quite flattering.
Palladin Press?
That was, I believe, the publisher who was sued by the families of a woman, her disabled toddler son, and his nurse who were all murdered by the boy's father using step-by-step instructions set forth in a book published by Palladin Press. And Palladin Press lost.

HAH! Homosexual??
Who said *anything* about homosexual until you just brought it up, Mr. Smith??? And what on earth does being homosexual have to do with appearances? As far as I can tell, several of the guys on Baywatch are probably gay.
The point is that, for any sane individual, Starchild's website is worth a few chuckles and nothing more.

Qualified author, HAH! You are a funny one.

I believe the point was that only someone totally delusional about their skills AND looks would put the picture on a website.
Starchild may not be able to help being unattractive ( barring an international team of surgeons working away like beavers for a few years) but he did not have to display the unfortunate aspects on the website.
Neither the writing or the picture inspire anything but laughter.

It is, however, a useful screening device to enable other shared delusional people to make themselves known to Starchild. Only those who are easy to fool, willing to be fooled and experienced
at being fooled go any further.

Mr Starchild may be a fat, ugly, homosexual but that hardly stops him from being a qualified author.

If we only read books by people able to star on Baywatch we would be in a lot of trouble.

Frankly, I find it rather petty that anybody would bring it up on a 'serious' message board.

Cayman Court Secrecy: A Huge Red Flag for Foreign Investors & Clients
David Marchant
As any fule kno, the biggest enemy of fraud, corruption, money laundering, and other forms of financial crime is transparency, while their best friend is secrecy. That's why the unprecedented mass sealing of cases that's taking place at the Financial Services Division of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands is repugnant to anyone with a genuine concern for financial crime.
