‘I need my good name back’, writes Bermuda policeman Peter Brentano

    Hi,

    My name is Peter Brentano.

Over 20 years ago a business (The Tie Deck) which I worked at had a legal dispute which culminated in a civil action.

The action was satisfied as soon as possible. However, your website is causing me extreme damage with mortgages, my investigator position and issues with all aspects of my life.

It is unjust and clearly detrimental. How is it that you publish something so old and which was settled almost 20 years ago?

Please help me. I need my good name back. Please take this post off asap. I will be turned down for my present application if this unjust google entry remains.

    Many thanks,

    Peter Brentano

This information is not "unjust". It was obtained from Bermuda Supreme Court, whose records show that you were sued, chose not to defend the action, and that a judgment was entered against you - all in 1994. Our information should cause you no problems with "mortgages". If the potential lender requires this information to be disclosed on the application form, then you must disclose it. If the potential lender does not require this information, then it does not consider the information relevant to your application and you shouldn't be turned down because of it. Either way, the details on the OffshoreAlert web-site would be irrelevant to your application.
