    From offices in the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands, Canadians Cullen Johnson and Elaine White pulled off an outlandish asset recovery scam. They fabricated offshore bank records and passed them off as authentic to clients, who then used them as a basis to sue innocent people they wrongly accused of concealing assets from them.This session will look at how Johnson and White were able to pull off their scheme, discuss red flags that were missed by their clients and their advisers, and look at the general issue of detecting forged and counterfeit documents.Speakers
