Judge reserves judgment after LOM hearing

    A United States court has reserved judgment on whether an offshore investment firm and its boss must comply with four subpoenas served on them by the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
    Magistrate Judge Alan Kay did not issue a ruling from the bench at the end of a two-hour hearing on December 10, 2004 at the U. S. District Court for the District of Columbia, as the SEC had hoped.
