Letter from Bermuda: Putting profits before patriotism

In 1938, or thereabouts, the front page of The New York Times carried an article decrying the trust services Bermuda provided to America’s wealthy to minimise their US taxes. In March 2002, the same newspaper carried a similar article which made similar sounds about the corporate services Bermuda provides to America’s wealthy to minimise their US taxes.
The first matter, clearly, blew over. The second may not go away as easily.
