    Mossack Fonseca sues Netflix for defamation over Panama Papers-inspired movie ‘The Laundromat’

    Defunct Panama law firm Mossack Fonseca and its founders – Jürgen Mossack and Ramón Fonseca – have filed a defamation complaint against Netflix in the US, alleging that the recently-released movie ‘The Laundromat’ portrays them as “ruthless uncaring lawyers who are involved in money laundering, tax evasion, bribery and/or other criminal conduct”.
