Mr. Marchant,

Just note of "thanks" for uncovering this scam 4 years ago. As you may be aware, the liquidators have been successful in recovering a net (after recovery charges) of about half of the invested funds. Unfortunately, they have created an extremely skewed payout formula wherein some investors get more than 100% of their capital returned and others get almost nothing. But, anyway, in general, most of us are getting "something" back. If you had NOT uncovered this scam, then surely Williams et al would have eventually taken ALL of the funds.

Thank you.

Regards,

Cayman Court Secrecy: A Huge Red Flag for Foreign Investors & Clients
David Marchant
As any fule kno, the biggest enemy of fraud, corruption, money laundering, and other forms of financial crime is transparency, while their best friend is secrecy. That's why the unprecedented mass sealing of cases that's taking place at the Financial Services Division of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands is repugnant to anyone with a genuine concern for financial crime.
