Offshore Intelligence

Beyond The Promotional Material
Bermuda has opened its doors to crypto-scammers, Cayman's business court secretly seals winding-up petitions against investment funds to prevent investors and creditors from knowing about them, and offshore registered agents in both jurisdictions routinely break the law by denying the public access to corporate registers.

These are some of the insights that will be offered at this month's OffshoreAlert Conference on financial intelligence and investigations in Miami Beach.

In a session entitled 'Offshore Intelligence: Beyond The Promotional Material', OffshoreAlert owner and editor David Marchant will discuss his experiences during 29 years of investigating financial enterprises that are based or domiciled in offshore jurisdictions.

"There are plenty of positives about offshore finance and plenty of negatives ... just like onshore finance in New York, London, and other major cities," says Marchant. "This session will be an honest presentation of what is actually taking place in an area of finance that few investigators cover in any depth."

The 17th Annual OffshoreAlert Conference North America will take place at the luxury, ocean-side Miami Beach EDITION hotel on April 28-30.

Sexy Sessions
In the past one of our presenters exposed FIFA’s senior officers five years before they were criminally indicted for fraud and corruption. Law enforcement interviewed our speaker after the event and the rest ... as they say ... is history. This year's program will feature sexy, original content and the industry's most newsworthy speakers.
