A Bermuda-domiciled hedge fund is being sued by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission for an alleged $6.5 million securities fraud.
The complaint against the Gryphon hedge fund group was filed at the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on December 12, 2006.
