The Costa del Sol region in southern Spain is notorious as a place where mainly British expatriates operate fraudulent schemes with relative impunity. These schemes are targeted at non-residents, including British pensioners, and take in tens of millions of dollars every year.This session will look at the scale of the problem, the effectiveness of the local courts and laws, and, generally, effective strategies to help victims recover value.
